Ingredients:
2 cups cooked chicken, chopped or shredded
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup dried raisins (optional)
1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional) Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, mayonnaise, celery, red onion, dried raisins, and chopped nuts (if using).
2. Mix all the ingredients together until they are well combined.
3. Taste the chicken salad and add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve chilled on a bed of lettuce or in a sandwich
